Strengthen the construction of public parking lots and increase the number of parking facilities

In recent years, in accordance with the diversified work ideas of parking lot construction, insisting on government guidance, social participation, and multi-channel financing, the Municipal Urban and Rural Construction Committee, together with the departments of development and reform, finance, planning, land, and civil air defense, as well as the district governments, vigorously promoted public parking in the central urban area. Parking lot construction, do everything possible to increase public parking facilities, and built large public parking lots and temporary parking lots such as Zhanqiao Outlets, Helen Plaza, No. 1 Hong Kong West Road, Zoo West Gate, and Baoer Primary School. At present, a number of public parking lots, such as Mixc City, Women's and Children's Hospital, Sifang Primary School, No. 2 Stadium, Dangdai Plaza, and Yongnian Road, have been built, and more than 5,800 parking spaces have been constructed. The underground parking lot of Guoxin Sports Center has completed floor construction. It is estimated that 70% of the main structure will be completed within this year, and 1,500 public parking spaces will be built.

In addition, we will make great efforts to solve the difficulty of parking in hospitals. Combined with the construction and renovation of the East Campus of the Municipal Hospital and the East Campus of the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai Hospital, the investment in parking lot construction was increased, and more than 2,000 parking spaces were simultaneously added.

Pay attention to tapping the potential of existing parking resources and revitalize the stock of parking facilities

In recent years, Qingdao City has actively encouraged social enterprises and institutions to open their own parking lots to the public, adding about 10,000 public parking spaces each year, playing a positive role in alleviating parking difficulties in some areas.

Three-dimensional transformation will be carried out on some existing ground parking lots to increase parking spaces. In the near future, plan demonstrations are being carried out on the construction of a parking lot on the Zhangzhou 2nd Road Ocean Plaza plot.

Strengthen policy research on the construction of public parking lots and improve construction incentive policies
